Important Trip

No, no travels for me, just the sentiment for today's card. I have to confess that the stamp includes the author's name ~Henry Boye~ but it wouldn't fit in the oval Nestability that I wanted to use, so I covered it with scotch tape before stamping. My sincerest apologies Mr. Boye! :-) I do think the quote is profound and when I found the "Just For Fun" stamp at a local stamp store, I knew I had to have it.

I pulled out the K & Company Wild Saffron PP again along with SU's Wild Wasabi card stock. I rounded the corners and used my paper piercer and Signo white pen to make the faux stitching. The felt flowers are from American Crafts. I'm really pleased with the end result.

I have to share a picture of the little critter that paid our deck a visit this week. He sure is cute but we really didn't want him hanging around with our kitty so we had to shoo him away but not before snapping a few quick (and yes, blurry) shots.

I can not believe we are on Day #6 of the Sneak Peek for Storage Units, Ink & More new stamps already! You are going to be wowed by Leigh O'Brien's amazing card made with the "Put Me in Coach" set. Rush on over to her blog, Sunflower Studio and post a comment to have a chance to win this incredible stamp set. That raccoon looks so sweet and innocent. The markings are so defined.
