New Serendipity Stamps and Dies

Gorgeous   .   New   .    Stamps   .    Dies

I am so excited about today's blog hop! It gives us the opportunity to show off Serendipity Stamps new stamps and coordinating dies, and they are amazing!
My card features the new outline and floral dragonfly dies. You also have the option to purchase the stamp separately or to make things really easy and give you tons of versatility, you can purchase a set that includes all three.

I used the outline die to cut an ivory dragonfly and then cut patterned paper with the floral die to layer on top. I added a touch of color with Copic Markers and tiny beads for eyes. The sweet sentiment is called "More Things".

So, how would you like an opportunity to win a set of your choice?

Just be sure to leave a comment on all the blog hop sites and one lucky winner will be chosen at random!

King of the Grill

Happy Wednesday! Ready for another Serendipity Stamps challenge? It's a great one...It's time for Spring Cleaning by using up some of those supplies (you know you have them!) that have been sitting around unused forever! The toughest part of the challenge for me was narrowing down which item(s) to use. Can you tell from the photo? OK, here's a hint. It's metal and it comes in an unlimited variety of shapes...that's right, CHARMS!

I can't possibly be the only one that has several storage containers chock full of these little beauties, can I? They're just so darn cute but the reality is that I always find it hard to incorporate them into my projects.

I plucked this adorable charm from my stash and used it to embellish a card made with one of Serendipity's new stamps. It's called "Grill" and it will make the perfect Father's Day cards. I added my own computer generated sentiment.

Serendipity’s special this week is a 40% Off coupon –you’ll get 40% off the highest priced item in your cart.  Hurry though, the coupon expires Monday, May 21st!

A Bevy of Butterflies

Hi! I'm back with another Serendipity Stamps challenge for you. This week, we are creating a project featuring a butterfly stamp and a card sketch (see below). I am working with this gorgeous stamp called "Butterflies in Flight".  The stamp measures approx. 4 x 5 inches, so I chose to stamp it, color it with Copic Markers  and then cut out several of the butterflies for my focal point. I really love the sense of motion in this stamp. Oh, I almost forgot! The sentiment is also from Serendipity Stamps...you can find it here
Here's the sketch we used:

Now's a great time to shop at Serendipity (of course any time is a great time!!). The special this week will be Free Shipping on orders over $10. The special will run through May 7th.

Playing along today are Jeanne, Amy, Jenny, Miriam and Sue along with our Spring/Summer guest designer Kristine Breach. Go on over and show them some love!

Have a terrific day!
