A Fabulous Birthday

Today's card is a CASE of a card by Mercy Kerin. I bookmarked this card in June because I loved the use of several patterned papers and its simplicity. I am always looking for ways to use up some of my paper stash and this was a great way to do it.

I used a combo of Stampin' Up, My Mind's Eye and Carolee's Creations as the backdrop for the "Fabulous Birthday" stamp from Hero Arts. I added brads, silk ribbon and a flower cut from the PP for accents.

I can't believe our three day weekend is almost over! It felt so good just to wind down and do precious little. Other than stamping, of course! I created several Halloween cards for my Etsy shop and I'll post those tomorrow. Hope you really enjoyed your holiday as well.

It's all about the details:
Card stock: Papertrey Ink
Patterned Paper: Stampin' Up, My Mind's Eye, Carolee's Creations

Stamps: Hero Arts

Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Tombow Markers
Accessories: Dimensionals, Ribbon, brads
Tools: Nestabilities

Wow this is so pretty. Love the idea of combining papers as a backdrop for a sentiment. It's just beautiful.

So sorry to hear that you had to make the choice to about leaving SU but I completely understand.
