Well we made it back from vacation... tired, happy and sporting a cold. That hotel air conditioning gets me every time.
Here's my card for the Blogger's Challenge for this week. We were supposed to case the card from page 21 of the Stampin' Up Occasions Mini Collection 2008 catalog (the dog one). I chose a stamp from Rubber Romance as the focal point and a sentiment from Papertrey Ink's Pond Life set. I used Chatterbox Inc. patterned paper for the background and also paper pieced the parasol with it. I colored the geisha with Copic Markers and then highlighted the flowers on her gown with Spica markers. The flowers are from the Bride's collection from Michaels. They come in white or ivory but are super easy to color with Copics to match your project. I added Glazed Brads from Basic Grey's Two Scoops collection.
Thanks for checking in. It's great to be back!
It's all about the details:
Card stock: Bazzill
Patterned Paper: Chatterbox Inc.
Stamps: Rubber Romance, Papertrey Ink
Ink: Palette, Noir Black
Accessories: Ribbon, foam squares, Brads, Flowers
Tools: Copic Markers, Spica Markers
