Inspiration to Gogh

I made today's card for the Inspiration Challenge at Splitcoast. The challenge was to use any "Cows on Parade" figurine to inspire your card. There were so many to choose from but I settled on "Starry Night in Texas" as my inspiration piece.

I started out with an abysmal attempt to make a mosaic by tearing card stock into tiny pieces and gluing them to more card stock but since I hoped to complete my card before next week's challenge rolled around, I opted to switch to my Copic Markers. After creating the mosaic with the markers, I "grouted" it by sponging the whole thing with Distress Ink.

I mounted the background and the sentiment on dimensionals and adhered them to blue card stock.

Thanks for the challenge Splitcoast and special thanks to Vincent!

It's all about the details:
Card stock: Bazzill
Patterned Paper: Made with Copic Markers and Card Stock
Stamps: Wordsworth, Silently one by one
Ink: Brushed Corduroy, Distress Ink
Accessories: Ribbon, foam squares, JoAnn's Stars
Tools: Copic Markers
