A Word for all Seasons

Thanks for dropping by for this week's Serendipity Stamps challenge, and what a fun challenge it is. The design team is creating either a scrapbook page or photo card using some of the "Word Stamps" that Serendipity Stamps has to offer. I wanted to work with the "Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter set". You'll find other sets here: 278, 274, 581, 430, 341. Many of these sets are also available as sticker sets and are currently on sale. Check them out here.

I began by searching through my iPhoto program to find photos that would represent all four seasons. I knew right away that for winter I wanted to use a picture of our back yard after a recent snowfall. I wasn't sure what I had available to depict the others. The search was fun though and other than having to remind myself to stay on task instead of becoming sidetracked by all the wonderful memories the pictures brought back, the hunt went rather quickly. I then created a template in Photoshop Elements and printed the photos on Neenah card stock. I printed them twice so I would be able to cut them out and pop them up for some dimension. I stamped each "season" in a coordinating color and mounted it on patterned paper. I finished the photo card with a touch of bling and some faux stitching.

Be sure to check out Jeanne, Amy, Miriam and Sue's challenge projects.

Until later....
