Just dropping you a line...

Hi there! How's your week progressing so far? I thought things were going pretty well for me until tonight when what I initially thought was a flat tire (bad enough, right?) turned out to be a problem with my brakes. I had to sit on the side of the highway for about 40 minutes while I waited for my husband (and hero) to come rescue me. I hate car trouble. I just want to be able to put the key in the ignition, turn it on and have it run ... smoothly ... every time. Know what I mean? Smiley from millan.net

Tonight's card is another creation using Serendipity Stamps. I used one of my favorite stamp sets called Three Dresses. Such a wonderful vintage feel. The sentiment is from the same set. Isn't it beautiful? I paper pieced the dresses and used one of my new Nestabilites to frame them. A touch of ribbon and buttons and a whole lot of inking later and it's finished.

Thanks for dropping in!

It's all about the details:

Patterned Paper: Sorry, unidentifiable scraps
from my stash
Stamps: Serendipity Stamps
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Rich Cocoa
Accessories: Dimensionals, lace, buttons, twine
Tools: Nestabilities, Copic Markers

Hi Kathie!
Sorry to hear of your car trouble - I am like you. I don't want to worry about anything - just get in and drive it. Thank goodness for husbands who look after us :o)

This is a beautiful card tonight. LOVE the three dresses. Haven't seen the Nestie you have used so don't know what it is - but the whole card is wonderful. Brings back memories!
Hugs, Candy

Kathie! I love it! Sooooooo sweet. This is one of my all time favorite Serendipity stamps. You and I may wear the rubber off it, right? LOL

Love everything about your card. Yep! Great minds think alike.
