Home...It's a good thing

My apologies to Martha for stealing her line, but it is just so fitting. It feels great to be home from our travels. Did you miss me? :-) I'll share some photos over the next few days. But let's get our priorities straight! I have missed making cards so much! I really suffered from withdrawals big time. I even talked my dear sweet husband into driving into Sheridan, Wyoming to shop at a local scrapbook store. When we got there there was a sign on the door saying the owner was sick and the store was closed for the day. I was so bummed. I did manage to visit Treasured Memories in Reno, Nevada though and managed to get my fix.

Today's card is for Jen's sketch challenge. I felt more than a little rusty getting back in the swing of things and it took me forever to decide what stamps to use. I'm happy with the results considering it's my first card in over two weeks.

Don't forget that the drawing for the blog candy will take place on the 31st. Be sure and check in to see who wins!

It's all about the details:
Stamps: Art Impressions - set 2904, Paper Trey Ink, Faux Ribbon
Paper: Scenic Route, Ashville and Bazzill card stock
Ink: Brilliance Graphite Black,Color Box Chalk Ink, Olive
Accessories: Brads, ribbon, Scrapbook Adhesive foam squares, Copic and SU Markers
Tools: SU Oval Punch, SU paper distressor

Welcome back! This is the sweetest card ever - the little bird just melts my heart:) Oh how annoying that the stamp store in Wyoming was closed, sounds exactly like something that would happen to me.
