This week's JBWW challenge over at Inky Paws is "Gotta Love the Critters". You are supposed to make a card using your favorite critter image. I have been in love with this little piggie from the moment I first saw her but I have never used her in a card before. (Someday I'll tell you about my two year collection phase where I bought hundreds of stamps but never got around to using them.) I love how the crows are having lunch right there on her back.
I did a lot of sponging and then cut the pig out and adhered her to a second copy of the image. The gingham ribbon was originally black and white, so I colored it with my copic markers to co-ordinate with the background better.
Happy Columbus Day!
It's all about the details:
Stamps: Stampington and Co. - Hog Host; Rusty Pickle - Old MacDonald Set
Paper: Bazzill; We R Memory Keepers - Urban Window Collection PP
Ink: Brilliance Graphite Black; Distress Ink - Antique Linen
Accessories: Copic Markers, Ribbon, We R Memory Keepers Hardware
