Man this week is going by fast. It's already time for another Kwernerdesign color challenge. This time I knew instantly which stamp I wanted to use to go with the colors Kristina selected.
I think this stamp by Inky Antics is too adorable ... especially for those of us that love snowmen anyway. I love their expressions and they are so much fun (and easy) to color. I used Copics this time around but they're just as wonderful colored with watercolors or reinkers.
I stamped a snowflake from Papertrey Ink's Snowflake Serenade set with Versamark ink on all the colored card stock pieces and then heat embossed with clear embossing powder. I mounted both the snowmen panel and the sentiment from A Muse Artstamps on dimensionals. It's difficult to see in the image (click to enlarge) that the snowflake was punched twice, once in white and once in vellum and then layered. I had to add a little extra sparkle, so I dusted the snowmen wings with superfine glitter and then placed a crystal in the center of the snowflake to finish the card.
Thanks for paying me a visit!
