Life's Good
What a great thing to remind ourselves from time to time...Life's good! I have been going through a few challenges at work lately and if truth be told, feeling a bit down in the dumps. When I picked out the sentiment for this week's Serendipity Stamps challenge it reminded me that all the other things in my life that really count are not just good, but truly great. What a wonderful reminder. It was just what I needed.
So, this week's challenge was to use one of the flourish stamps for our project as either a background, focal image, or basically any other way we chose. I picked out this one to create the background for my card. I stamped the image several times with VersaMark ink and then embossed with white embossing powder. I then colored the cardstock using Distress Inks and a blending tool. The sentiment stamp is also from Serendipity Stamps and can be purchased individually or as part of this cling set.
Serendipity Stamps has some amazing new spring and summer stamps posted in the New Stamps section and be sure to check out the 20% off Word Stamps sale while you're there.
Head on over to Jeanne, Amy, Jenny, Miriam and Sue's blogs for more flourish goodness.
Have a terrific day!
