It's not far down to paradise
At least it's not for me
And if the wind is right you can sail away
And find tranquility
The canvas can do miracles
Just you wait and see
Believe me
No, I am not a sailor, but I always wished I could be. Today's challenge for Serendipity Stamps is to create a project centered around water. I selected this beautiful sailboat stamp for my card. I stamped the image in StazOn ink on watercolor paper and then colored it with Distress Inks and cut it out. I placed it on dimensionals and then cut it out using Nestabilities Label 1 die.
I chose several papers from Basic Grey and Cosmo Cricket for a backdrop and added some twine and a Tim Holtz "Journey" token.
Ready for more? Then head on over to see how water plays a role in Anya, Lynda , Jenny and Miriam's projects.
Ah, sailing, maybe some day.
It's all about the details:
Stamps: Serendipity Stamps
Cardstock: Coredinations
Patterned Paper: Basic Grey, Cosmo Cricket
Ink: StazOn Black ink, Distress Inks
Accessories: Dimensionals, Tim Holtz token, Twine
Tools: Water Brush, Nestabilities

Great coloring, Kathie. I like the combination of pattern papers you used too - this would be a great card for a guy!
Fabulous card. Love the different papers you used. This is just wonderful.
