Deere Man

Ok, I just had to use this incredible stamp for today's "Make a Masculine Card" challenge over at Serendipity Stamps. I just love this little tractor and I had to pair it with some of my favorite new papers from October Afternoon called appropriately enough, "Farm Fresh".

I think most of us really struggle with masculine cards and I had to really wrestle with my impulse to add ribbon! LOL. I chose to keep embellishments to a minimum but I did add a bit of faux stitching and "grunged" it up with Distress Inks to add a little manly charm. I printed the sentiment out on my computer. I kicked around several really bad "groaners" before coming up with this one. I like that it is versatile enough to use for a birthday or a just because card.
