Lilacs - a Serendipity Challenge

Without a doubt, my favorite flowers are Lilacs. They have the sweetest smell on earth! Today's card is another Serendipity Stamps challenge and I have a little left over Easter egg on my face! I totally spaced on getting my challenge card made and am almost (if I can get this posted by midnight) a day late. Our challenge was to make a Mother's Day card using this sketch. I turned the sketch on its side for my card.

I chose one of my favorite Serendipity Stamps for the card. It comes as a single stamp or you can also purchase it as a set here, and it's aptly named "Lilacs". I used some My Mind's Eye patterned paper as well as some scraps of pp from The Paper Company. The image was colored using Copic Markers and I added some glitter to the butterfly before popping it up on glue dots.

Check out the other cards from the challenge and give them some love!

This is very pretty, Kathie. I love the sketch turned on its side and the colors you used! The sparkle is a perfect touch, too!

Gorgeous! Lilacs are beautiful but sadly I'm allergic to their smell. I'll just enjoy them through wonderful cards like this one.
