For Sherry

Did you all have a good weekend? I totally vegged for two days! I felt slightly guilty but it felt really good at the same time. I think every one needs some real down time once and awhile, don't you? I didn't even sit down to craft until tonight. That's unheard of.

The card I am sharing with you tonight is for my friend Sherry. Sherry and I worked together before she retired several years ago. She is one of the most energetic people I know and is the "Queen" of organization. She decided recently that her kitchen needed to be painted so she placed drop cloths over her tile countertops and proceeded to climb up on the counters to paint and while stepping from one counter to the next, she took a misstep and fell....so hard that she literally broke her neck...in three places. She was rushed to Seattle and they placed her in a halo which she will need to wear for at least 12 weeks. Through it all she has maintained her incredible spirit and sense of humor.

The papers and embellishments used today are from the March Scarlet Lime kit. They are delicious! I also used two new sets of stamps from Waltzing Mouse Stamps called "Roses in Bloom" and "Very Vintage Labels No. 1". It's my first time ordering but it won't be my last. I love them!

Have a terrifc Monday!
