Girls Will be Girls

Time for another SCS sketch challenge! This time around I skipped my stamps in favor of using up some of my rub-on and sticker stash.

The sentiment is a fun rub-on from DCWV and the cuter than cute purse is from K & Company's Brenda Walton's Purses Grand Adhesions. I also used the Large Pinking Circle Nestabilities and Spellbinders Piercerabilities Pinking Border.

I am so glad it's Friday tomorrow! This has been such a crazy week at work and a nice relaxing weekend is just what I need. Have a great one everyone!

It's all about the details:

Patterned Paper: Stampin' Up, Basic Grey

Ink: None
Accessories: Brads, K & Company Grand Adhesions, DCWV Rub-ons

Feel Better Soon

I thought this little House Mouse stamp by Stampabilities I picked up awhile back was appropriate given all the nasty bugs going around. I sure hope all of you and your families manage to stay well.

The card was made for this week's SCS sketch challenge. The panels were made with Stampin' Up's Bella Birds DP. I love this set. The colors are so soft. The image was colored with Copic Markers and then cut out wth the Labels 2 Nestablities. I chalked just a bit before I removed the image from the die for a subtle blue background. The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink's Simple Little Things set.

Thanks for checking in and have a happy hump day.

Marrakech Butterfly

OK, break over!

Sorry I've been MIA for a bit. There were many things that factored into my absence. Work, a cold that would not die, genealogy research, and embarrassing enough, I could not find my desk after preparing my taxes. What a mess!

I managed to finally clean today and I thought I'd begin with Taylored Expressions Cupcake Challenge #65. I just picked up this wonderful stamp from Inkadinkado called Gemstone Butterfly. I paired it with these gorgeous PP from Basic Grey called Marrakech. The butterfly's sparkle comes from Hero Arts baby blue gemstones and lime Stickles.

It feels great to post again. Have a wonderful week ahead.

Sunny Hello - BC #93

It's a sketch challenge this week for the Blogger's Challenge group. I really like this one too. I don't know why I don't make this size card more often. It's fun to try something different and I am usually really happy with them when they're done.

I started with chocolate chip card stock and added SU's Good Morning Sunshine patterned paper. This paper lifts my spirits just by looking at it. I am really craving a little sunshine! I used various punches for the focal point and added a handwritten message. For the finishing touch...three chocolate brads.

Be sure to visit the other Bloggers' sites for more versions of the sketch. You'll find them by clicking on the graphic in my side bar.
