I have had this image stamped and watercolored for months, just lying around waiting for the perfect sketch. This month's SCS Fan Club sketch challenge provided it.

The Easter Bunny Trio is from Whipper Snapper Designs. I stamped them in Brilliance Graphite Black and colored them with SU markers and my aquapainter. The adorable PP is from DCWV Nana's Nursery. Isn't that bunny paper the cutest?

Sniffles, Soreness and Santa Fe

Just a quick post to let you know I'm still alive. We had a terrific time in New Mexico in spite of an outrageous cold. I haven't been this sick in eons. To add insult to injury (literally), I fell down our stairs this morning on my way to work and am so sore! It looked like I had come up with a new Yoga position when I landed and let me tell you, this body does not bend that way willingly.

Here's a fast card I whipped up for my Brother-in-law's birthday. I love this set from My Favorite Things..so much fun to color.

I'm off to bed with my heating pad. See you all soon.

It's all about the details:
Card stock: Bazzill
Patterned Paper: Basic Grey

Stamps: My Favorite Things

Ink: Brilliance Graphite Black
Accessories: foam squares, ribbon, brads, paper piercer

Mojo Monday on Tuesday

I created tonight's card for Julee Tilman's Mojo Madness contest. Julee always comes up with the greatest sketches and her samples are wonderful. If you haven't participated in her monthly contest you should really check it out.

This is one of my favorite color combinations. I just love how olive and rust work together. I used some of my stash of Chatterbox PPs with Bazzill card stock. The olive branch stamp is by A Stamp in the Hand and the sentiment is from one of my old Club Scrap kits.

I am eagerly waiting for my first Stampin' Up shipment after signing up to be a demonstrator. I can't wait! I have so many fun things coming and wouldn't you know it, I think it will arrive just as I fly out to New Mexico. I guess on the positive side, that just means that I'll have a lot to look forward to when I get home.

Have a terrific humpday!

It's all about the details:

Patterned Paper: Chatterbox

Stamps: A Stamp in the Hand Co., Club Scrap

Ink: SU River Rock, Color Box Chalk - Burnt Sienna and Pale Olive, Distress Ink - Brushed Corduroy

Another SFYTT

Here's another "Sketch For You To Try" from Jen at iheart2stamp. I broke out my Madeira Island SEI patterned paper and combined it with the palm trees stamp from Cornish Heritage Farms and a sentiment from My Favorite Things. I added the handcut card stock fringe at the end because it just needed something. I can almost feel those tropical breezes, can't you? Thanks for another fun sketch Jen.

Hope your week is off to a good start. I have tons to get done this week because I'm off to Albuquerque next week on business. I've never been to New Mexico before and I'm excited to explore both Albuquerque and Santa Fe.

It's all about the details:
Card stock: Bazzill
Patterned Paper: SEI - Madeira Island

Stamps: Cornish Hill Farms, My Favorite Things
